On Christmas eve, ZEROZAK pastes a yellow poster with a green writing in front of the Ministry of the Interior in Rome, with a question addressed both to the yellow-green government (Movimento Cinque Stelle-Lega) and to all of us: What's the size of our “we”? In political propaganda there's a growing use of a linguistic model that opposes us (the good ones) to the others (the bad ones), but the use of this “we” is adapted to every situation. When it comes to economics we are the Italians against the European Commission. When it comes to immigration we are the Europeans against non-EU people. When it comes to terrorism we are the Christians against Islamic extremists. But what if we talked about us as Human Beings?
